Who runs this site

Ian David Provencher, doing business as AppliedIQ Solutions — a sole proprietorship in New Bern, North Carolina. Using this site means you accept what is on this page.

The tools are calculators, not advice

Every tool here works out an answer from numbers you type, using arithmetic it prints beside the result. None of them uses a model, a forecast, a benchmark or an industry average, and none of them suggests a rate, a target, a par or an interval — those are the decisions you are paid to make.

They are provided as they are, for information. They are not financial, legal, tax, accounting or employment advice, and a figure one of them prints is not a recommendation to do anything. Check anything that matters before you act on it. Where a tool cannot work something out, it says so rather than printing a plausible number — but that is a design principle, not a guarantee against every mistake.

Nothing you type into a tool is sent anywhere, stored by anyone, or seen by me. That means nothing is saved either — close the tab and it is gone.

The free check

It multiplies out two numbers you give it and prints the working. It is the size of a problem, not a promise about what software would save you. What a build would actually change depends on what gets built.

Builds start at $2,500. That is a floor, not a quote. What yours costs is agreed before any work begins. Anything on this site about price is information, not an offer capable of being accepted.

The demonstrations

Every business, town, person and figure in the demonstrations is invented. They are not any real client's data and they are not a claim about any real business.

What belongs to whom

The design, text and code of this site are mine. You are welcome to read it, use the tools, and link to any page. You may not copy the site wholesale or pass it off as your own.

What I build for a client belongs to that client, outright — that is the entire point of how I work, and it is written into every agreement.

Availability

I make no promise that this site is always up or always correct. I may change or remove anything on it at any time.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or lost profits, arising from your use of this website or the tools on it. This limit applies to the free site only. Work I am paid to do carries its own terms, agreed and signed, and nothing here reduces them.
